Preparation helps you enjoy your time at Tally Ho Equestrian. Whether this is your first ride or your first lesson in years, you are welcome here.

1. Respect every rider’s journey. We value beginners and experienced equestrians alike. Encourage one another and leave room to learn.

2. Put the horse first. Good horsemanship means thoughtful care, patience, and attention to the horse’s comfort, whatever the weather.

3. Come prepared for the barn. Wear practical clothing and suitable footwear, and ask us before your visit about riding attire and equipment. Avoid loose items that may catch on tack.

4. Arrive ready to learn. Give yourself time for preparation and follow the arrival instructions provided for your lesson. Let us know if you need help getting ready.

5. Be patient—with yourself, your instructor, and your horse. Confidence grows through steady practice. Enjoy the journey.
